1st, I have to say I’m an old fashion gal; I love the feeling of a book in my hands. That being said, I downloaded the book on a Friday night to read over the week-end. However, I decided to take a peek at it before I went on to other things. BIIIIG mistake! The author drew me in from the very first & I couldn’t fling those pages on my reader fast enough! The locations described were breath-taking & her struggles with her decisions were very true to life. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. Needless to say, I finished it in a single sitting. It’s inspiring to see a heroine that raises to the occasion in trying circumstances. I recommend it highly.
About the Author
I grew up in a small town near Ann Arbor Michigan, in what I thought was a normal, but boring family. I longed for adventure. I traveled around the country playing pool with my second husband. I would never do that again but I wouldn’t ever give up those experiences. I have worked so many jobs, it’s hard to keep track of them all. To list a few: I drove truck cross-country, poured concrete basements, bar tended, office work, factory jobs, picked vegetables on a truck farm in Alabama and was a general manager for two different companies.
My mother always told me I should write a book about all my experiences, so I started writing. My books are embellished memories from my life and experiences. Only the people that shared some of those times know what is truth and what is fiction.
I have lived in eight different states and have one grown daughter that just retired from the Air Force. I now reside in Gilbert, Arizona with her husband, a Goldendoodle named Fuzzy and a Labradoodle lovingly named, Muddy Brown Dog.
MrPerfect.com was elected as a finalist in the Independent Author Network 2015 Book of the Year Awards. In the Genes, to be released fall of 2015, Dawn’s story continues.
