Five Star Review on Amazon By Lorraine Price

A Discerning Heart is nothing like the title would indicate. I got sucked into it right away with “Dim Jim.” I immediately felt sorry for this character and couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen. I loved the breathtaking description of the island that he visits and thoroughly enjoyed the magical, mystical fairy tale that seemed to appear out of thin air as I read this story with relish. It was full of hope, danger, mystery, enchantment, trouble, and romance. Definitely an adult version of a fairy tale!
Patty has a way of bringing reality, depth, and dimension to every character she creates. I can’t stop reading her book until I have finished it. Loved it!
