Single dad Isaiah is looking forward to a relaxing weekend with his daughter, Rebeca, when the power goes out. Isaiah thinks nothing of it at first. Little does he know that mysterious creatures are setting off a series of violent massacres all over the world. It’s the beginning of the end.

As the harsh realities of their violent new world sink in, Isaiah is determined to get Rebeca to safety. That safety may lie with the Guardians, strange superpowered beings sent to help humanity. The Guardians claim that the mysterious, violent creatures are humans corrupted by a powerful evil. Even with the Guardians’ fabulous powers, they have no hope of defeating them. It will take humanity, united, to truly pose a threat to the darkness that is slowly taking over the world.

The Guardians also have special instructions for Isaiah. As he sets off to help others isolated by the darkness, he will confront the now ruined and barren United States. Meanwhile, Rebeca decides that she will need to change drastically to be strong enough to fight in the upcoming war.

As the two discover the secrets of this new world, Ablution shows the true strength of a father’s love and mankind’s will for survival.
