Well worth the wait! In this terrific episode in the Henry Gallant Saga, Henry is entrusted with the command of a spacecraft carrier and charged with a daunting rescue mission. His maturity, expertise and experience serve him well. Plus, his effectiveness is bolstered by exciting new characters and familiar comrades. While detractors create distressing interference, Henry transitions from ace pilot to leader with more sweeping responsibilities. Loved it!

Gallant leads a task force in battle against the Titans, but his toughest opponents are within his own fleet. The plot has a strong military storyline, but politics plays a role in his career for good and ill. Hard as it is to believe, his romantic life gets even more complicated. A thoroughly enjoyable story and a quick read. The best book in the series.
