“He turns and holds my face in both hands, staring me in the eyes with an expression of firm resolve.  “I want you to know that I will do anything to keep you safe … anything.” He drops his hands like he’s surrendering to some cemented truth and continues in an even, slow tone that’s laced with sadness.  “You and I may have grown up in the same town, but we came from different worlds.”

From a small Long Island community to the shores of Lake Como and the French Riviera, treachery and revenge follow Alicia and Chase as they struggle to survive and maintain their all-consuming desire.

Sheltered by wealth and a close-knit family, fashion designer Alicia Cesare is not prepared when Chase Reardon steps into her life and awakens her passion.

Ex-marine and real estate developer Chase Reardon is fraught with turmoil from a violent childhood.  Stalked by the leader of a Russian cartel, he controls all aspects of his life as a way to stay alive.

When physicality morphs into deep love, Chase is determined to protect Alicia from his past … but a past never stays buried.
