I always enjoy finding a new author who just published their first book. I was excited when this book was published and I could snuggle in to read. From the first pages on, I was pleasantly surprised with being pulled into this beautifully written book so quickly and with characters that pulled at my heartstrings. I loved Terry, an adorable child, who just lost his dad. And there's Charlie, a homeless veteran, a wonderful soul with a painful backstory which he continues to heal from. There are many wonderful moments in this book and many surprises. This is all I can write, so not to give this lovely story away. I recommend. JudyE

R. J. Stevens (Author)
From an early age, R. J. Stevens had a vivid imagination. She would venture out to sit underneath a huge cottonwood tree dreaming of grand adventures and happy endings. Often her mother had to call her more than once to bring her back to reality. Her imagination grew throughout her childhood and into her adult life. Now she has the opportunity to share her heart with others through her writing. Her hope is that her readers will find themselves drawn into the story allowing them to forget the pressures of their lives for a few moments in time.
