Carly Nelson had always imagined that she would marry on Christmas Day. She begins planning her Yuletide nuptials once her true love, Jacob Cooper, proposes marriage. Much to everyone’s dismay, Carly uses her costume design skills to craft the most brightly lit Christmas tree shaped wedding gown that Carly can possibly wear. She uses her inheritance to hire Santa as a sleigh driver, and she prays for a white Christmas to blanket the aisle as she is led to Jacob.
Although a sudden tragedy derails Carly’s carol-ridden wedding agenda, she refuses to give up on her romantic holiday dream. She will even settle for a Christmas wedding with the Easter bunny if she must do so! Jacob soon insists, though, that they will have to postpone their wedding until July. His sister, Lauren, agrees with the summer wedding plan and accuses Carly of putting her needs before their needs.
Carly must now search her soul to decide which is more important to her . . . her girlish marriage dream or the man she is going to marry?
