I was able to read this book while still in beta version–and was really impressed. The initial floating head really grabbed my attention, and the action was non-stop after that. I was also reading James Lee Burke’s “Rain Gods”, but “Cold Currents” was the one I couldn’t put down. The settings rang true (I lived in the Knoxville area for decades), and I loved the choice southern phrases the author coined. I look forward to more Bobby Taylor mysteries.
