As Joe tries to understand this changes in his life, he recognizes one of the missing women from his nightclub and is compelled to learn everything he can about her disappearance. Along the way he uncovers evidence of corruption, betrayal and eventually murder.

Can Joe balance his need to learn the truth against the responsibilities he has to his family? Will the strange things happening to his body and surroundings help him find a way in the world or will he burn out the longer he spends living his life in Overdrive?

“Different from other supernatural books – BETTER !”

Five Star Review on AmazonĀ By Alexb

I really loved this book, so instead of waiting for a mail from Amazon to ask me to review this, I logged on and started writing this review. A first for me.

The book builds up slowly, as some other reviewers state, but for me it feels more natural this way. It builds to a satisfying, kickass climax.

The supernatural is only a part of this story, it does not take the main stage, which I find good. Also, the fact that we are seeing this from the viewpoint of an older person is a nice and welcome change. About time.

I also liked the way the author described the emotional interactions with his mother and close friends, especially how they remember their dead family. That made me a little teary-eyed as well. Been a while since a book did that to me !

Go and read it already !

About the Author

Before I got into anything else in my rather hectic life, I knew I was a writer. From a young age trying to write stories about Star Wars, expanding on comic book theories – basically creating “FanFics” before there ever was such a term, I knew that writing was my true passion in life.

Now that I am adult (shudder) and have fallen off the written path a touch, I find myself with a new hope, a new vigor.

But more on that later.

Check out the links provided. I am excited about writing again and making a real go of this. So many stories in my head.

I hope you love them as much as I do.
