I bought this book because i often have difficulty getting a full night’s sleep and wondered if there was something that could be done without taking drugs that often times have deleterious side effects. Ms Berk covers many varied items (foods, drugs etc…) that contribute to getting less than optimum rest as well as giving advice on things you can do, foods you can eat that will aid in restful sleep. I especially liked one tip of having a handful of almonds prior to bedtime which are high in magnesium and calcium which together help calm and sooth muscles and nerves to improve the quality of your sleep. I enjoyed the quick read, it’s jam-packed with some great information and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their rest and regenerative sleep.
