Book Description:

Successful weight loss is not about losing weight. It’s about developing a healthy relationship with food.

It’s not about ketosis, calculating calories, or counting points. It’s about the courage to step outside your comfort zone and get off the dieting rollercoaster. Enough is finally enough.

If you really want to meet your goal to actually maintain a healthy body size, then you must stop focusing on changing your weight and start focusing on changing yourself and your relationship with food. That’s the underlying message of the Soveya Solution.

The Soveya Solution is a proven and practical system developed by Eli Glaser after his struggles with morbid obesity and the life-changing turnaround 17 years ago that enabled him to shed 130 pounds – and keep it off! Eli has mastered a unique and extremely effective approach to weight loss and lifestyle change and walks you step-by-step through this transformative process, providing highly innovative and pragmatic tools along with clear and concrete guidelines – all positioned atop a platform infused with positivity, humor and endless encouragement.

The Soveya Solution simultaneously focuses on the three target areas of change, your head, heart and hands – how you think about food, how you feel about food and how you act with food. Without addressing all three, it’s just a formula for failure. The Soveya Solution has developed a one-of-a-kind interface for anyone to acquire their own customized food plan which serves as the vehicle for achieving conscientious and consistent weight loss.

Tying it all together are the Seven Soveya Keys for long-term success, which help you unlock the blocks of relapse and serve as the foundation for real and lasting behavioral change.

Eli’s vulnerability and raw honesty lend a richness and relatability that penetrates the heart of all who have shared the battle of the bulge. He has the courage and credibility to confront the billion-dollar weight-loss industry and is exposing the misleading messaging, defying the distorted mindset and challenging the broken methodology that is so rampant in so much of conventional dieting.

This groundbreaking system has impacted thousands of people around the world. It’s not just a weight changer and it’s not even a game changer. It’s a life changer.

Eli holds dual certifications as a nutrition/wellness consultant and weight management specialist from American Fitness Professionals & Associates. He is also an internationally acclaimed motivational speaker and author, as well as an ordained rabbi.

This was a beautiful read — if a little hard to “swallow & digest.” Eli’s sensitive and clear instructions about breaking free from overeating are clear and on target! It then becomes the reader’s (my) job to have the courage to follow through on his suggestions. His writing style is warm and conversational, with wonderful alliterative descriptions throughout... as in ”we find ourselves once again confounded, confused, and quickly copping the cupcakes”. With his own fearless honesty, Eli shows us all the traps, excuses, and flawed thinking that led to his former preoccupation with food. He then explains in great detail, the steps he took to realign his relationship with food, lose his excess weight (130 lbs) & maintain the loss for 17 years. The diet industry is NOT going to like this book... since anyone who follows Eli’s advice carefully, will never again need to “go on a diet.” Please cheer for me that I can do this, and I’ll cheer for you, too!!
