“Great Book with a Great Message!”
Five Star Review on AmazonĀ By Megan Safko
This book has a great message of loving your neighbor and a great reminder of what Easter is really about – forgiveness! The illustrations were great and this story would be great to reinforce the ideas of anti-bullying, loving others and the Easter story with elementary age children. Even kids that can’t read on their own yet will love helping with the animal sounds throughout the book. For those just learning to read, there is a very helpful glossary at the end.
About the Author
Nora Ballew was born in Pennsylvania, the third of four children. She has been an avid reader of many different genres since little Golden books filled her shelves and Hans Christian Andersen tales fueled her imagination. She was bit by the writing bug at a very early age, and she began writing poetry and short stories in grade school. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, her answer was always “a writer.” Her early education included both a private Christian school and public schools, and she later attended both a community college and private college. Nora married her high school sweetheart, Brian, at 16 and became a mom at 17 to their first daughter. Within six years, two more beautiful daughters had come along. Nora fed her desire to write over the years by writing for pleasure, often penning poetry to mark special occasions or writing romantic short stories; contributing articles to a local entertainment publication, composing technical documentation and blogging.
