Flying With God by Bettina
This book appeals to PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, especially Airline Personnel, Airline Frequent Flyers or “soon-to-be” Flight Attendants. This book appeals to PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, especially Airline Personnel, Airline Frequent Flyers or “soon-to-be” Flight Attendants. Most of the writing is devoted about interviewing for an Airline Career and “behind-the-scenes-scoop” of early flying, beginning in 1965. Old photos are included.
The author begins with life in Germany’s WWII as seen through the eyes of a little girl.
Throughout the book are hints of child abuse but Bettina “Sparkles” was not diagnosed with Child Abuse PTSD until she was 50. Her life was full of chaos. She may have been smiling on the outside but was crying on the inside.
You’ll can find out how she overcame her PTSD in her new book: SET YOUR PTSD FREE, 7 Effective Ways to Heal Trauma. The author encourages Readers that her “bottom-line” tools help overcome all of our life’s struggles. The writing is filled with hope.

Five Star Review on Amazon By Smita
I got this book free for a review. ( Courtesy : BooksGoSocial).
Flying with God : Putting on a Happy face is an easy read and I finished the book in one sitting ! The story is about effects of WW II in the lives of people in general, and a German family in particular. It is about the unseen scars that the war left on people’s minds and how it affected their lives.
The book is part –I of autobiography of a German girl and her struggle to find a stable life, her long and admirable career as a flight attendant / stewardess for more than three decades. There are nice photographs of Bettina “Sparkles” – the author, her family, friends and aeroplanes, encompassing flourishing times of the Aviation Industry. This brings the author’s experiences come alive !
Flying with God : Putting on a Happy face is worth a read, and to complete the author’s spiritual awakening and her release from PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder ), I would surely read her next book , Set your PTSD free !
A touching real life story, which can be an inspiration to the reader !
