“An imaginative tale……..”

Five Star Review on Amazon By Nancy D.

Let me start by saying this is not the type of book I would normally read. I am older than what I believe the target age group is for this genre of stories. That being said, this book had an eye catching cover and an intriguing title, so I thought I would see what it was about.
I struggled through the first couple of chapters. I understand the author was trying to establish the personalities and relationships of the main character and her two friends, but there seemed to be an excess of banter between them that was leading nowhere. I hoped the rest of the book was more interesting. As I continued to read, I was pleasantly surprised that as additional individuals were introduced, the story became much more intriguing and fast paced. I found I liked the characters and wanted to know where the tale would lead them. The book became a quick and enjoyable read.
The author created an imaginative tale that in the end leaves the reader wanting to know more about these individuals and what will come next in their lives. The author wisely ended the story in a way that leaves her the option of a sequel or even a series. I hope chooses to continue their story.
The author mentions that she hopes to pursue her dream of being a novelist. I encourage her to follow her dream, but seek help in the form of writing classes and a professional editor. I wish her well in the pursuit of her dream and look forward to her next book!
