Still in his first term of office as the sheriff of the small town of Shady Oaks, Florida, Mathew McKenna finds himself suddenly in the middle of the worst terrorist attack in history.
Washington is in crises. What can they do? Should the Vice President assume the mantle of Acting President in accordance with the Twenty-Fifth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States?
McKenna will need everything he has, and all that he is, if there is any chance to save the city, and to save the lives of those around him. If he fails, then the millions of people who call the city of Liberty their home will die.
Ten years ago the United States christened the first orbital city, Liberty. Liberty is the symbol of American power and freedom. Liberty is the ultimate shining city on a hill.
A huge 10 year celebration is being held in the city’s honor. The president and the first family will be attending. Everyone will be there. A celebration ten years in the making. A terrorist attack ten years in the making.
The world watches in horror. All options have run out for Washington. Now they wait and watch. All hopes rest on sheriff McKenna. He is all they have left.
Can sheriff Mathew McKenna lead a small group of survivors that includes his niece, the First Lady of the United States (who did a tour of combat duty…as a Navy SEAL), and save the city? Or will they all die, along with millions of other innocent lives?
Get this novel now and join Sheriff McKenna, and an amazing cast of characters, on this incredible ride as they fight against all odds and deliver pulse-pounding action.

“A fantastic page turner”
Five Star Review on Amazon By Paul Schumacher
A fantastic page turner. You won’t be able to put it down. If you’re a fan of action, political thrillers and a touch of sci fi, this book is a must.
About the Author
Hi. Welcome to my Author’s Bio page here at Amazon. I’m the youngest of three children. I remember when I used to sneak into my big brother’s room and grab his ‘Tarzan’ and ‘John Carter of Mars’ paperbacks when he wasn’t looking. And I still remember the experience of discovering that I wasn’t as sneaky as I thought I was.
I remember the joy of reading ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ and ‘The Hobbit.’ I like all sorts of books from all kinds of genres. Usually, I’m reading two books at a time, sometimes more. I’m almost always reading one history book and one fiction. All the fiction books that I read seem to be thrillers, or some kind of an adventure.
I hope that everyone who reads ‘Free Fall’, my first adventure, enjoys the ride. And as far as Tarzan goes, he’s on my Kindle now. The entire collection. Thank you for visiting my Author’s page.
