I got to try something new with this cookbook. A fried cookie. I had always heard the old adage fried is always better and I could not wait to see if it applies to cookies as well. I could not wait to try them and borrowed my neighbor’s pasta machine. Unusual, but tasty. They were well received and an instant hit at our neighborhood get together. As were the Christmas Cowboy Cookies. The Cheesecake Crumb Bars are like individual chesses cake bites and I warn you ahead of time very addictive.
About the Author
Thank you for stopping by to check out my little corner of Amazon. I appreciate that you are taking a moment to get to know me. Here’s my story. My family is from Charleston, South Carolina so I learned to cook southern dishes. My love of cooking started early when I was a little girl, like many a home cook, I learned to cook from my family. My great grandmother took me into her kitchen and taught me our family recipes.
My great grandmother was an amazing self-taught baker, so desserts were a major part of our family gatherings. My eBooks are filled with her recipes. I keep her memory close by baking her sugar cookies at Christmas and by frying up her buttermilk fried chicken for our family picnics in July.
I am sharing family recipes, not recipes created by a test kitchen and a big publishing house. I do the word processing and formatting. Friends have been testing the recipes and alerting me when there are typos. So this is a small family business. I have come along way from the first day when I uploaded Lowcountry Shrimp Boil with the HTML code exposed!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will return and get to know me as I share my family recipes.
