Book Description:

Undercover psychic investigator Casey Jones meets her new partner at eight thousand feet, when Hothar is suddenly wrapped around her like a limpet. He declares he has come to rescue her from a watery death. All the butthead is going to accomplish is getting them both killed. She’s a battle-tested Siren and quite capable of catching the turncoat without his help.

Can Hothar, a powerful Coletti warrior, aid Casey’s hunt for the traitors in Central Command or will he simply get in the way? With the assistance of a shape shifting alien and an eight-legged Tabor, they race to stop the conspirators. Can love flourish on the battlefield?

Once again, Ms Gail Koger has hit another home run! I love Hothar and Casey! Fast, fun and a great read, these two will lead you on a gambit of laughter. My only complaint? It wasn't long enough! I didn't want it to end!!!! (I suck at writing reviews because I want to spill everything about the book! But I can't! No spoilers!!!) Very much suggest you get and read Hothar's Folly. If you haven't read Ms Gail before, it is a stand alone read, but better if read in order as characters from prior stories show up.

I love the Coletti Warlords series! Gail has a unique writing style which is very fast paced, fun, sexy, romantic and very, very action packed! I adore reading these books they are full of snark, humor and a delight to read. Truly an example of books you cannot put down until you read the last page - and then reluctantly so. Hothar's Folly is another perfect example. Hothar is the latest in the Coletti Warlords and one of the younger ones. Casey is a new siren we are introduced to and an extended member of the famous Jones Clan. They make a perfect pair. Casey is like all of Gail's heroines - strong, fiesty, capable, snarky and above all fun! Hothar is like all of Gail's heroes, strong, alpha, "patient", intelligent, sexy and someone we can all admire. Definitely do not want to spoil any of the fun! But I strongly encourage you to read not only this book, but the whole series. TOTALLY worth the cost of the books. I read mine over and over again and am delighted and carried away by the story each time!
