“So helpful and inspiring”
Five Star Review on Amazon By Shiela Francisco
Many people believe that not everyone can write a poem, that poetry is only for “the smart, creative, artistic people.” However, they do not realize that everyone of us have creative skills and talents waiting to be tapped. I love how this book discussed the simple steps in starting a poem – for example, being aware of our senses, using our every day experiences, and getting inspiration from the simple day-to-day events in our lives. The different samples from the author were very helpful. The book also gave different ways on how to share your poems. We all can create beautiful poems and it is great that the author wants each one of us to share the beauty we have created with our poems. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about the basics of poetry.
