Olivia Montrose had her life all planned—a job with a prestigious law firm, followed someday by a husband and, a few years later, a family. A chance encounter with a stranger in the French Quarter was not part of the plan. She knew better than to turn around. She knew better than to go back. But what she didn’t know was how to walk away from what she saw in his eyes… Shane. That was his name. And he was a talented artist, not a dangerous freeloader, as so many claimed. He didn’t want to hurt her. He didn’t want anything. He knew better than to waste his time with fantasies. But Olivia didn’t. And she couldn’t make herself stop wanting. Wanting what she believed could be. Wanting him to believe, too. Wanting to go off-script for the first time in her life, and take a risk she never imagined possible. But risks have consequences, and all too soon Olivia would discover just how shattering they could be.

“When two worlds collide”

Five Star Review on Amazon By Sharilynn A. Aucoin

A beautiful love story about two people from different worlds. Their interaction has profound consequences for them both. Well-written and deeply felt. Another story from the prolific Jenna Mills – and another winner!

About the Author

Most people who know me think I’m your nice, ordinary average wife and mom of two young kids. They see someone who does all that ordinary stuff, like grocery shopping, walking the dog, going to baseball games, and somehow always forgetting to get the house cleaned and laundry done.

What they don’t know is that more often than not, I am somewhere far, far away, in an extraordinary world, deeply embroiled in solving a riddle or puzzle or crime, testing the limits of possibility, exploring the unexplained, and holding my breath while two people fall in love.

Those who do know have learned to go easy on me. They know what my blank stare means, and they know when I politely nod, I haven’t heard a word. I even have a few awesome friends who know to call me with gentle reminders about things like the first day of school and neighborhood block parties!

Regardless of which world I’m in, my story worlds or the real world, I love rain and wind and thunder and lightning, the first warm kiss of spring and the first cool whisper of fall, family, friends, and animals, dreams, happy endings, and…chocolate chip cookies.
