I love this book because it shows a fathers love for his daughters in a positive light. With so many absentee fathers out there, it is nice to find a book that celebrates the strong bond of the father/daughter relationship, and Letters to My Daughters does just that in bringing about a warmth and truth that confirms that every young girl needs her father. I would highly recommend this book to not only fathers, mothers and daughters but to the entire family, for it takes a village to raise a child. Thank you Avery Washington for presenting a great work for your daughters and our young girls who will one day grow into beautiful women, because someone took the time out to say I care.
