Are you living for work rather than working for a living? Do you want to live a happy and meaningful life as a migrant?

For many immigrants, life too often becomes a challenging cycle of adjusting to the new life in a new country, working hard to establish yourself, going up the career ladder, and working even more hours. In the process, actual living gets left behind in search of the proverbial greener pasture. And guilt, regret and longing whisper their painful voices more often than you want.

You don’t have to go down that road.

Instead, read this highly engaging and inspirational book and let Joyce Roa take you on another way–a simple path to living a great life. Live It Great traces the journey of Joyce and her husband from their home country the Philippines to New Zealand and the lessons she learned in the process of moving and living in a new country.

Inside Live It Great, you’ll discover:

Filled with Joyce’s conversational warm tone and inspiring stories from other people who have gone through the same process, the book will inspire and motivate you to live a happy and meaningful life as a migrant.

If you love to travel or want to see other places this book is for you. It has humor, it has travel stories and life stories. It is worth the read you can almost see the places she has traveled. Just a really nice read! Great descriptions make me feel like I have been there.

About the Author

Hello! I’m Joyce Roa.

I’ve always loved the written word. I remember spending many of my summer vacations buried in a book when I was a student (well, even during classes, to be honest). I started writing for the campus paper in high school, then took up Mass Communications as my major in college. My first job was as a copywriter for a small ad agency in Cebu City, Philippines. Throughout the years, I have been communications officer, proofreader, writer, editor, or freelancer.

In 2014, my husband and I moved to New Zealand and we have been here since then.

I didn’t think I have it in me to write a book, after all there are so many other writers out there. I had to work on changing my mindset and overcoming my self-limiting beliefs, but finally I was able to write “Live It Great: 12 Real Life Lessons to Help You Create Your Own Happy and Meaningful Life as a Migrant.” Perhaps it needed another country so I could write my own book?

I love to watch movies, and do volunteer work. During my days off from work as an activities coordinator, I love to putter around the kitchen to bake or do some cooking. I also like to travel with my husband. You can connect with me through my website
