Many police officers from several police departments were called to defend against a group of right wing militant thieves who call themselves The Sons of Christian Liberty. Among them is Homicide Detective Caitlyn Lambert, from the Stow Police Department. In addition to her normal duties, Detective Lambert is called to investigate the suicide of a young girl from a seemingly loving family. During the investigation, Detective Lambert proves she is neither afraid to stand alone, nor to ask the hard questions. Fortunately, she finds strength in her steadfast desire to protect the people she encounters. After all, the battle for justice does not always end with death. Some ghosts are too bitter and filled with hate to rest in peace. Detective Lambert learns this hard truth when she encounters another whose love for country and his fellow man did not die with him; nor did his service end with his death.
