61b41NafXlL._SX331_BO1,204,203,200_Scattered Musings is a collection of eclectic contemporary poetry. This book consists of 40 poems which are based on my personal struggle with life in general and my feelings of inadequacy as a obese woman and sexual abuse survivor (I Wish, Hollow, Samaritan, Schuss, Sadness Still, Fiscal Shards, Suitable Christian, Wrong Angle) There are also poems about love (Flawless Emotion, The Kiss, Walk in My Heart) and some with stunning imagery (Hidden Flight, Beneath, Assisi). Then there are a few stray poems about topics such as Rachmaninoff (Lost in Rachmaninoff), a vampire (Vrykolakas), and my thoughts on Hollywood (Hollywood, Celebrity) among others.

Five Star Review by dawnzy51

I am not into poetry and found a few of them hard to grasp but they left me for the most part saddened to think of Angie’s struggles through life. I am happy she was able to express her feelings in poetry and hope this has helped her heal some. Actually a few reminded me of Jim Morrison’s ( The Doors) poetry. Which is truly awesome. I will read this book again in a few weeks and see what other insights I can notice. I will treasure this book always.
