Donald considering whether to continue his education or become a professional rugby player, although under pressure to work with his father. Donald knew many of his friends were in the same position. Times were difficult, and Covid 19 had wreaked havoc on the economy. Most companies were struggling with transport costs.
Donald sat on the coach with his friend Michael, another student in the same predicament. He watched wealthy parents arrive in their plush vehicles.
Christine waved, climbing into her mother’s brand-new Range Rover. Donald suspected she would attend university with her distinctions.
Donald was unaware his life was to change, propelling him into the limelight where dishonesty ruled and every gold-digger existed. It soon becomes apparent he’s living a nightmare at times and will never trust a girlfriend. Lurking in the shadows was a powerful woman who appeared to control everyone she came in contact with, including Donald at times. What will be the outcome!
Reviews for the Book
I enjoyed the simplistic way the book is written, gently pulling you in until you can't put it down. Certainly no lack of action or intrigue. - John
About the Author: Sylvester Roberts
Age is a myth. You’re as old as you feel. I take each day as it comes, usually starting to write a few pages in my next book. I enjoy theorising about the afterlife. Some people dismiss the subject as pure folly until you experience a brilliant white light while stepping from here into somewhere else; keep an open mind.
I enjoy riding my bicycle through the countryside while I work out the next scene in my book.
Sometimes we travel to Scotland and South Wales, where many of the ideas for my books originate.
I was born on a farm, then ventured into running my own business before taking early retirement to enjoy my passions. I don’t tend to write overly complicated stories or make someone run for a dictionary to understand what is written.
All royalties from my books go directly to the air ambulance.
