After discovering that her son’s friend, Ryan, is on the search for his birth parents, Lynn Assimacopoulos decides to use her skills as a genealogical hobbyist to find them. Delving through phone books, sending letters, and searching everything from the local library to the National Archives, Lynn is defeated by the lack of information she has to go on.
However, a random search for Ryan’s birthmother’s name in an internet search engine yields a photograph of a family. Could this be the correct person? If so, will she even want to revisit her past and get to know Ryan?

Five Star Review on Amazon by AriAP
A great short story about the search for birthparents. It is well written and details the unusual twists the search takes. More that this, the subtext is really about the need for human love, acceptance and relationship and the satisfaction that comes from giving rather than receiving.
