“Shaman is a beautiful story of mystery”
Five Star Review on Amazon By Ellen Rich
I have known Carl for a while and read his other books. All excellent, but Shaman takes so many of Carl’s wonderful mystery and weaves a story that one can view from many levels. I encourage you to read Shaman and don’t dismay over what is fact and what is fiction. With Carl, all is a lesson at the level we need. Blessings.
About the Author
Carl has always been spiritually connected and driven to know the higher purposes of our existence on Earth. Over his lifetime he has sometimes felt haunted by the “otherness” of life we routinely fail to comprehend in the hustle and bustle of a very narrow view of awareness we all seem to accept as reality. That “otherness” is about which, he writes. What makes him qualified to write such a book is that in his own search to find truth he found what Jesus refers to as, “the kingdom of heaven.”
The kingdom of heaven is not within us, rather it is us! We all possess it as well as every other soul on this planet past, present and future. We need only find it to begin to comprehend our own unique greatness. The following is a short biographical summary by Carl of some of the life experiences that has brought Him to the place where the book “On Being God-Beyond Your Life’s Purpose” could be written:
Biography and credentials are so insignificant when compared to our infinite natures. All of the things we seek to get us through this life mean so little when stood up against the things of eternity. What I share here has little if any significance anymore in terms of how I once identified myself with them. The things of my past do not haunt me as they once did.
I was physically, mentally and sexually abused as a child. I was also raped and tortured and like many children I had Attention Deficit Disorder, although at that time no one knew what that was, so in order to deal with my hyper activity my mother and father beat it out of me. I recall my mother telling me on occasion that she must break my spirit. In a way she did because I retreated into my inner world of daydreams and visits to wooded areas by myself where I could wander free and without the threat of abusive adults. I was never a good student but I did love to read. Nights were scary and I learned to sleep deeply and without any recall of dreams. Somehow I made it through all of this into adulthood.
