“Survival from bone crushing tragedy”

Five Star Review on Amazon By Kat Henry Doran

Two particular chapter titles in this precious story of one woman’s recovery from a hideous tragedy, Surviving the Un-Survivable and Men Don’t Run: Men Don’t Hide, stayed with us while we turned the pages.
Somehow, some way, Mikala survives what to most of us would be unsurvivable: the loss of a child.
Jake Cardona is a man who doesn’t run, nor does he hide–even when Mikala, suffereing insurmountable grief, tells him to go away and leave her be. He doesn’t–for long. And the reader is better for it.
Six Months is a Put On Your Shelf and Re-Read It, over and over again. Do not lend it to friends or family because you’ll never get it back. It’s that good.
