About the Author

Barbara Ann Bruno was born and raised on Long Island, NY. She currently resides in Myrtle Beach, SC with her four children. She is a stay-at-home mom, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and a Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She received her training from the Institute for Integrative NutritionĀ®, where she studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. Barbara holds a Bachelors Degree in English with a concentration in Psychology from Adelphi University. In the past several years, her love of health and fitness has allowed her to branch out and become certified in concentrated areas of fitness and health as well as being studied extensively in many areas. Barbara is a certified Youth Yoga Instructor, certified PiYo Instructor, and holds certificates in Nutrition for Sports and Exercise, Stress Management, Music and Movement, and Understanding the Gut Brain: Stress, Appetite, Digestion, and Mood. With her knowledge, Barbara co-creates completely personalized actions and programs for her clients based on their goals to help them move toward their ideal vision of health and overall wellness in both their personal relationships and their relationships with food.
