The Dionysus Connection — too irresistible to suppress, too dangerous to indulge….
An interrupted after-hours pharmacy robbery results in the murder of a pharmacist and his wife.
To catch the brutal killer a respected Dallas detective poses as a male stripper at Club Dionysus.
The investigation links the destinies of their beautiful daughter, Daniela Lawson—intrepid investigative journalist, who believes she could have saved her parents—and sexy,
dark-eyed Dallas special detective, Max Fabiani, who harbors an intense dislike for journalists.
The underlying animosity between them can’t stop their blazing attraction as Daniela and Max race to catch a killer.
Out of control passions reach a flashpoint when Max and Daniela succumb to
the desire neither can resist. But the killer is plotting to take Daniela’s life and quench their love.
A love ignited by their Dionysus Connection.
“The Dionysus Connection AWESOME!!”
Five Star Review on Amazon By Kathi Blanchette
“The Dionysus Connection” had my attention and I was hooked from the first sentence to the ending. You could relate to the characters as if you were right there with them. I couldn’t put the book down, it is that good!! The action flows realisticly and is believable. It sucks you in and you can’t wait to get to the end. It was a thrilling journey of reading with a roller coaster of events, life-like characters, and an ending that will surprise all. If you enjoy romantic mystery fiction, I HIGHLY suggest you read this book. You will NOT be dissappointed!! Liz Cowan is an awesome writer and does an excellent job of bringing to life the characters in the Dionysus Connection.
About the Author
Liz Cowan was born in Budapest, Hungary; graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in philosophy and a minor in English; and writes a weekly humor column.
Reading and writing have been my favorite pastimes since early childhood. During summer vacations, I checked out huge stacks of books from the library and in a couple of days I returned for more. My reading preferences run the literary gamut, including fantasy, science fiction, mysteries, romance, biographies, poetry, etc.
With my mind bursting with stories of my own, writing was a natural progression for this bibliophile.
Liz and her husband live on several acres in the rolling hills of North Texas on what she dubbed The Funny Farm. “Just enough room to keep the neighbors out of our armpits.”
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Philosophy, Liz is a voracious reader, but the need to write cannot be ignored for long.
Besides working as a legal assistant by day and plotting new stories at night, she loves working in her flower garden and writes a weekly humor column.
Her published books include:
Fractured Proverbs and Twisted Thoughts–a humorous take on original and familiar sayings, written as E. Cowan.
The Dionysus Connection written as Liz Cowan
The Marathon Man written as Liz Cowan
