Evie needs shelter. Eleanore needs rent money. Jake needs to mind his own business.

Book Description:
Evie needs shelter. Eleanore needs rent money. Jake needs to mind his own business.
A home share with her Golden Girl neighbour is the answer to Evie’s problems. The only fly in the ointment? Eleanore’s suspicious, grumpy grandson who moves in too, to protect his grandmother and her interests.
Two’s company. Three’s a crowd. Infuriating Jake is everywhere, asking questions, stealing her coffee and cinnamon rolls, and hogging the shower. But he’s remarkably sweet to his Gran. And Evie’s cat loves him.
When Jake’s business deal threatens to fall apart, she agrees to help, and finds herself neck deep in a fake relationship with a guy who’s increasingly irresistible. Before long, hearts get tangled.
When lies are exposed and the truth blows up in their faces, will there be anything left worth salvaging?
Reviews for the Book
I loved the description of the place's the character went to. It was funny, the characters were likeable, they remind me of people I've met and were not over the top. I felt at last, beening over 40 and love reading, didn't meay I couldn't enjoy romance. This author understand not everyone over the age of 40 is to old to have fun and sex or to old to enjoy a book with adventure. It's not a book that keeps reminding us, every chapter, we are not in our 20ths and no mater the age of the hero (even if his a 200 year old supernatural) anyone over 40 is to old for them. I could not put it down. I felt vindictive, being over 40 and enjoyed reading a romance book. Can't wait for the next book. - pauline harper
