Faced with a personal challenge, the main character reflects back on the many walks of life he has taken. The author takes us back to life in and around Atlanta, Georgia as it was in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s and how the people he has met in his life have molded him into the person he is today. Along the way he meets a kind woman who plays, perhaps, the biggest role to date in his life. The story is told mixed with humor and tears as he deals with a father who has not always been the dad he so desperately wanted.

“A most worthwhile journey …”

Five Star Review on Amazon By Joann L. Smith

This book is described as “the story of one man’s personal journey as seen through the eyes of Randy Blalock.” This book is not only one man’s journey, but the journey of each of us … I obviously don’t mean that we have all walked this exact journey, but I believe that we can each find ourselves within this story.

This thought provoking work encourages us to remember our own journey … to look closely at the different “walks” of our lives … to give thanks for those people and events that have shaped who we are and to find healing of the painful past that we thought we had tucked safely away.

It is not by any means a heavy, hard to follow story, but an enjoyable read that takes us on a journey through historic and personal events, with an unexpected twist for good measure.

I highly recommend The Many Walks of Life for inclusion on your “must read” list
