The Reinecke Enigma

In the North African desert in the October of 1942, German tank crew survivors of the battle of El Alamein fleeing allied pursuit stumble onto an ancient tomb lost in antiquity. This brief discovery has tremendous significance for the questioning and rewriting of the history books. The find, with its hidden location, is kept secret, waiting until the war is over. But this is stolen by the successor of a megalomaniac purely to enrich the name of the mighty BFK conglomerate. The race is on, to find what seems to be the final resting place of the greatest leader of ancient times; before the tomb can robbed, pillaged by the present day ‘barbarian’, to be lost to the modern world before it’s tremendous importance can be made known.
In the modern day, when Erich Barton receives a mysterious parcel containing the detailed note book of one of the finders of the tomb, he is to be once again drawn into a web of intrigue and brutal murder. The German soldier’s name was Kurt Breitfeld; this spectral phantom of an old adversary has arisen from the dead… Barton with his trusted associates must act fast to thwart the opposition as they are again pitted against an old and ruthless enemy in their attempt to secure the ultimate prize, the final resting place of Alexander the Great of Macedon…
