Ciara gets the shock of a lifetime when she discovers the Zodiacs are real beings. She must learn to trust them to find Taurus’s true birthstone and stop him from taking over humanity. But Taurus isn’t the only threat. An ancient order of mages looms in the shadows. They also want the birthstones, but for a very different reason.

I was perfectly content with running away from a life I no longer loved. A city that haunts me. Until a Zodiac murdered one of my friends in front of me.
Taurus has arrived on Earth, and he’s come to end the Guardian line.
As winter crashes down on Reno, it brings with it an ancient feud, elemental magic and the turn of the Zodiac wheel. That gives me four days to find Taurus’s true birthstone and send him back to Polaris before he can succeed in taking over humanity.
If I can keep myself and everyone I love alive.

“Enchanting and Entertaining”

Five Star Review on Amazon by Adam Wright

The Tenth House is an enchanting tale that captivates and ensnares the reader.  Ciara’s tale is one of magic and mystery.  Newcomer, Ashley Scott’s, descriptive prowess and imagination were excellently weaved together.  I admit I know very little about the Zodiac.  That being said, I can say that I, unequivocally, enjoyed this story and am anxious for her second volume in the series.

I received a free digital copy of this novel in exchange for an open honest review. The preceding comment is truly how I feel about the book and my opinion was not impacted by the author or publisher.

About the Author

My name is Ashley R Scott, and I’m a native Texan. I consider myself fortunate to have been raised by two very beautiful people. A father who spent 25 years active duty, retiring as a Captain with the United States Air Force, and then spent an additional 20 years in Civil Service. A mother who always has a sparkle in her eye and a laugh in her heart.

While I miss the barbecue, I put Texas in the rearview mirror and headed to Washington State with my boyfriend. In Washington, I finished my college degree, graduating from Central Washington University with a degree in film production and a minor in screenwriting. I wrote and directed my first film, 3 Gobblers, a family, period piece based on a true story.

When that was done, we moved to Nevada where I wrote and directed my second short film, Liar’s Dice. Since then, I’ve decided to put my filmmaking on hold and pursue my original childhood dream of writing.
