But as the door opened and the rainy, cool night air rushed inward, bringing with it the sounds and scents of woodland and wet, Chris was afforded only a moment more with his parents. In a brilliant flash of cobalt blue, they were gone, outside and across the blackberry hedge, to disappear completely into the sheltering ravine behind the house. He sighed. Now he would have to hunt them.

“Gave me a new look on how family can be”

Five Star Review on Amazon By Amazon Customer

The Third Choice offers up a science fiction based tale of a family that faces its trials together. Throughout the story, Chris is tested by the responsibilities of taking care of family and trying to keep them together. His love for his family shows a strong sense of family first. I enjoyed the twists that kept the story going strong right up to the end. Thanks to Kira for a wonderful book with a message for all.

About the Author

May, 2017 – Thanks to Createspace, The Third Choice is available in print once again. It was also a great honor to have TC selected as part of the Indie Oklahoma Author curations in the Metropolitan Library System; this means that The Third Choice is now available online in libraries across the United States and Canada!

April, 2017 – My publisher for The Third Choice, Tate Publishing Company, went out of business quite suddenly last month. Like many other authors on their rosters, I will no longer have print copies available unless you can find one from a third-party vendor. This has been very disappointing and stressful for me, as it must be for all of Tate’s former authors.

In the meantime, I’m hard at work on a new book that I’m calling Enraptured. It’s absolutely a love story (and I love writing it!), but set in a very difficult time for mankind. I’ve written close to half of it now; with some major luck (and a stable publishing house) it could be available as early as 2018. Keeping my fingers crossed!
