Eli Ring (Author)

Eli Ring (b. 1956) is a native of central Illinois. After graduating from high school and a stint in the US Army, he moved to Oregon where he has lived for 43 years. He graduated from Portland State University and worked in public accounting for nearly 35 years. Eli began writing fiction about ten years ago. He started taking it more seriously when his daughter introduced him to NaNoWriMo. He has written three first-draft novels and finally gotten around to publishing one — “Trail to Peril”. His favorite authors include John Sanford, James Lee Burke, Elmore Leonard, and Jim Butcher. He spends his time writing, reading, and backpacking around the Pacific Northwest with his wife Anna. They have four exceptional adult children.
