In Trans Trap, we journey to small town Louisiana. Best friends Jamie and Chris are the odd kids out in town and in their school. While pursuing a once in a lifetime chance to join a performing arts high school, our two misfits drive to the big city. While away, gossip and dislike for anyone different. The local high school kids let rumors get out of control, leading to life changing events. Not just for Jamie and Chris, but, for every single person in this sleepy little town.
This chilling and at times funny tale takes many twists and turns. Leading the readers on a never ending ride of emotion and education, tears and laughter. With what has to be the most shocking turn of events to ever be written into a story of love, death, revenge and betrayal. Hello my name is Ms. Fifi Frost, and yes I am an Old Southern Drag Queen. I have dedicated my life to the goal of EQUALITY for the LGBTQQ communities. I have survived many challenges in life, and want to inspire others with my life’s story. From my being 5 years old and stomping cotton, to my battles with family, organized religion, anti gay conversion therapy, brutal hate crimes, being homeless as a minor, as well as institutionalized and government discrimination. How one kid beat the odds and found a family, a family of friends. My work with homeless LGBTQQ youth was part of my platform, being on a national reality show in 2014. I will open the nations first homeless and educational shelter for these amazing minor kids so carelessly thrown away like trash on the cold and calloused streets of America. As you will read in my book, Rusted Rhinestones I know all to well the life ahead of these kids. I have lived it. I am very proud to have kept my humor through out it all. There is adult content, I know from my dear online family this is not an easy book to read. I thank you for your time, and as always Big Hug’s Y’all!!
After the release of Rusted Rhinestones, we have found the people involved with the conversion therapy camp. I am seeking justice for myself as well as hundreds of other survivors. It is not an easy battle, as many have found before me. The good ole boy system in Louisiana is alive and well. Working on a new book to be coming soon, “Religious Liberty or Radical Extremism? A History of American Conversion Therapy”. I am exposing those who were responsible for my conversion therapy along with abuses to many other teens who were troubled and sent there.
