Sofia is the ex-wife of a mob boss. She left that life 2 years ago to save herself and her son. Leaving wasn’t easy and the mob life is never far behind her. She’s still followed by the Feds and the body guard her ex-husband hired. Logan is one of the feds that has been following her for the past two years. Logan has been attracted to Sofia since her first saw her and she captivates him. When Sofia’s son is kidnapped, Logan will do whatever he can to help, even if it means going against everything he believes in.
I really enjoyed this story. This was a fast-paced, exciting, suspenseful romance. I love the chemistry between Logan and Sofia. Sofia was a really interesting character because she comes across as cold and an ice queen but she’s strong and will do anything to protect her son. I loved this story, the twists and turns, the suspense, and it had me questioning everything and everyone not knowing who Sofia could trust. I really enjoyed this one and can’t wait to read more by this author and the next book in this series! Highly recommend!
