About the Author

K.L. Lewis grew up in the small town of Madisonville, KY, coined “the best town on earth.” As a young girl, she enjoyed creating characters in short stories and writing poetry, as well as reading mystery novels and the local newspaper. The independent Aquarian loves her freedom, and believes that there is a great amount of freedom in expressing ones self through writing.

A proud Soldier for over 20 years and Army Registered Nurse, K.L. considers herself a workaholic, who loves her family, and loves her work. She enjoys working alongside and taking care of the Soldiers and civilians who make it all worth it.

She earned her BSN from the University of Oklahoma and her MSN from the University of Texas-Arlington.
