Maya Scotton, a young artist with a severe case of painter’s block, is in need of money. When she takes on an office job at a construction company, she finds herself firmly in the sights of the owner, Daniel Foster – a dangerously attractive man with a dark past and particular tastes in bed.
Although she tries to resist him, Maya soon finds herself embroiled in a steamy relationship with Dan. And while he slowly encourages her to paint again, she begins to peel back his layers. At last, when she believes that she’s finally come to understand his ways, he has one final secret to reveal … and it’s a secret that threatens to blow them apart.
You Don’t Know Me, a steamy erotic romance, is the first book in a trilogy. Book Two will be published in February 2016.
“Fun and Sexy! A must have in your beach tote this summer!”
Five Star Review on Amazon By Sandy
This was a very entertaining erotic romance. Maya is very likable. She is smart, funny, and quirky. Daniel is what romance readers would want him to be. He is attractive (smoking-hot-attractive) and full of himself. And don’t women just love to break down those walls and bring such a powerful Alpha to his knees? The chemistry between these two is apparent from the first moment they meet each other in the boardroom. The way they look at each other and the unspoken language between them raises the heat.
The witty dialogue makes this a very fun read. The backstory for each character adds intrigue. The sex scenes were tastefully done with the perfect amount of naughtiness to make them hot and steamy. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun and sexy romance!
About the Author
Hello! And thanks so much for visiting my author page.
A little about the author: I live in Leicester, in the UK, sharing a house with my daughter, the future son-in-law, my dad and a middle-aged dog. My daughter’s expecting a little one in March, at which point I shall be a young (ish) and groovy grandmother! Seriously, I’m not that old!
I currently have a full time job as a teacher which drains me, but I’m leaving at Christmas 2015. I’ll then be taking a few months off to focus on finishing the You Don’t Know Me trilogy. The second book (True Colours) is coming along apace, and should be ready by January 2016 at the latest. The third book won’t take so long! I know some people have been frustrated that the trilogy isn’t complete, but I’m going as fast as I can! Rest assured that there’s plenty more to come with Dan and Maya.
You can catch up with blogs on my webpage: http://www.mandy-lee.com
By the way, there’s also a subscription list on my webpage. If you subscribe, I can let you know when the sequel’s coming out.
I’m on Facebook And I tweet! (but it’s mostly a load of rubbish)
I’ve been writing since I was about thirteen, trying out different genres for size. In 2014, after reading a few more of my favourite genre (I particularly love Sylvia Day and Jodi Ellen Malpas), I came up with the idea for You Don’t Know Me. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I’ve got notebooks filled with future ideas too!
Anyway, I’m pretty sure I’ve forgotten something important! Get in touch. Ask questions. Make suggestions. I’m all ears!
