Book Description:

As I write this book, I want to clarify right now as I do this for you all to enjoy the read that I’m no medical doctor, I’m your normal Jo Blogs, sharing my lived experiences as a young autistic female who’s now recently been diagnosed with ADHD on September 12, 2022. If you see any signs or symptoms based on the everyday topics that I’ve shared in the past or present, don’t be afraid to ask for help, as you’re not alone, and do seek professional advice or medical attention, as I don’t condone self-harm. I would advise any of you who are struggling right now to seek professional help from a medical team as soon as possible.

I, Kerrin Maclean, don’t provide any medical advice or legal advice for that matter, nor do I provide any legal advice or services. I instead provide general information about autism and mental health as a service to the communities I’m in and share my everyday life experiences that I go through on a daily basis as an autistic and female with ADHD.

DISCLAIMER: The information gathered, sourced, and researched for this book of mine isn’t in the form of recommendations, referrals, or endorsements of any kind of resource, therapeutic method, or service provider. It doesn’t or shouldn’t replace the advice of medical, legal, or educational professionals.
I haven’t validated, and I’m not responsible for any information or services that are provided by any third parties.
I urge you all to use the independent judgment of services related to mental health and autism.

This is a continuation of my first book about my life journey and memoir about me with Aspergers and now that I have officially been diagnosed with another condition which is ADHD that I am now diagnosed with in November 2022. From this new book, you shall see that this has more in-depth details based on my lived experiences with how I dealt with most of my dating experiences I’ve had in the past til now as well as giving tips and advice.

I’m Kerrin Maclean, who is embracing being an Autistic, in which I’m passionate about rectifying. People like myself who has Aspergers Syndrome do not suffer, it’s not an ailment it’s a neurodiverse need. We struggle from people’s judgements but not from Aspergers Syndrome. And in her new book, Everyday life of an Aspie, she sets out to dispel the many myths which surround it while still acknowledging the facts. I’m able to describe, in painstaking detail, what it is like to grow up and live with Aspergers Syndrome while providing good advice for those not familiar with the condition and for those who have children who suffer from it. The book also examines the links between Aspergers Syndrome, depression and anxiety and explores other issues which patients may experience, such as panic attacks. It offers practical advice on how to cope with these problems, while also providing information into the treatments and therapies which are available. Nothing is left out. There’s a chapter devoted to tips about dating and relationships with Aspie’s and an all-import section with information about support groups. I love to write almost anything when I have the time.
